I think your reading it wrong. 1 Big Red and 1 Small Golden = 1 Billion not 1 Million. Right? thinking

Re: hello

The Berlusconi government turned the economy in almost hyper inflationary with the Euro.......on the face its so fantastic, things looking all of a sudden so cheap....the 'caffe' lawsuite ** a classic. 1 Euro is 2000 lira. When we swapped and a coffee was 1000 lira, it became 1 Euro....instantaneous 100% price increase.

Netherlands, Zalm sold the Dutch Guilder 10% short not to get into the Euro higher than the DeutschMark......german economy pessimistic for a long long time, their real value had sagged to below a 1:1 guilder/dm ratio. All because of politics, the Dutch Government and Central Bank destroyed 10% of life savings and pension benefits. Zalm admitted this, and still sits in government......incredible.

Think we're happy with the Euro.....it was great theory.

** the caffe lawsuit relates to the most important of beverages in Italy. A person in Tuscany went to court....he'd saved his receipts pre-Euro of his regular coffee bar and took them to court and won as a 700 lira coffee became 0.70 Euro Cents......since caffe is still 50% more expensive than 3 years ago at Euro introduction.

Parking here in city was 1000 Lira (0.50 Euro cents), became 1.00 Euro, and last year in fact raised 1.50 Euro. ......200% inflation.

Meantime, our star sigs are still down crying
