Air conditioning and sitting at a desk, now that I would like. Your not alone. When my ankle heals & I'm released back to my regular job I'll be outside all day. I'm a Porter at a Mazda / VW / Used Car lot. I'm responsible for keeping over 120 cleaned. I work from 8:30am to 6:30pm Monday - Saturday. Don't take me wrong, I'm not complaining. I like this job better than any job I've ever had over the past 26 years.  Jim, I understand when you say you'll have to spend all that time back in the heat again. Nice days not a problem, but on humid days when the sun just doesn't want to give in it's miserable. By the end of the day your body just wants to collapse and say that's enough for today. Unfortunately when you get home there seems to be so much more to get done, and it seems to fall on the hottest days of the year! LOL |

Jim, I understand when you say you'll have to spend all that time back in the heat again. Nice days not a problem, but on humid days when the sun just doesn't want to give in it's miserable. By the end of the day your body just wants to collapse and say that's enough for today. Unfortunately when you get home there seems to be so much more to get done, and it seems to fall on the hottest days of the year! LOL I get through the day by drinking lots of Gatorade. I've got a Bubba Keg that holds 52oz. I've drank up to 3 of those in one day. I buy the large cans of powdered Gatorade. They make 6 gallons of Gatorade & only cost $8. I know what you mean. I've had lots of days like those. |
