For a weekend, today was good. We seem to really be pushing the results thru lately. We had another very good day for results returned as well as two good results milestones. CompuDude needs just 8546 points to assume the top spot on the team. That is possible tomorrow but it will take a pretty good day for them. If not, Monday's a cinch.

Today was a day with some very mixed news. First off, our daily team total of 104,940 points was the team's lowest since 02/26/2005. However, we had 62 team members returning results today which is GREAT for a weekend day. I am expecting that we have a number of BOINCers on the team with a number of results in Pending Validation as that would mean we are going to have a great start to the work week!
----------------------------------------madambaster is back crunching with the team and reached their first points milestone to boot! Great to have you back! CompuDude broke 13,000,000 points which is cause for celebration. As they need just 1330 points to take over the team's #1 spot, we'll clearly have another celebration tomorrow! Despite a big drop in results returned today, we still had three great results returned milestones plus the last several days were peak days for us in terms of results returned. Keep in mind we want to have 70+ team members returning results each day during the work week. Thats ONLY EIGHT more than today. Let go for it! |

Today's highlight is CompuDude assuming the top spot on the team! After yesterday's 13,000,000 point milestone, they are looking to the this week's high point. For something (WCG) that's been around for a bit more than two years, that's some MAJOR MAJOR crunching!
---------------------------------------- The milestones do keep rolling in though. Today's totals seem a bit off for a week day as does most individual scores but hopefully it's just a lot of folks having WU's not validate yet.For those of you running BOINC, I do NOT recommend upgrading to the 5.8.x levels yet. As you can see from my thread on 5.8.x over in the BOINC Agent Support forum, there are just too many things happening that I don't think should. It seems WAY too easy to end up with BOINC saying it's running but in fact sitting dead in the water. The 5.8.x levels include some VERY major changes that clearly need a good but more work. As for our goal of 70+ members returning results each day, we're up one today to 63. Let's keep working on that! |
