Finding a suitable team really depends upon what you are looking for. At The Liberty Belle we are very member oriented and friendly, and would dearly like to have someone of your standing, and a stats nut as a member. We promote strictly on merit alone, and Mods are encouraged to participate fully in all aspects of teamwork - as best they are able.

If we appear to fit the bill, come and join the friendliest little (but growing) team around.

OK! As my teamate has stated, we are a very friendly team. Our members are the lifeblood of the team, and we will all help each other on a personal level if the need should arise. There are no Prima Donnas here, only good people who sincerely wish to make a positive contribution toward helping science secure a better and healthier future for our children and grandchildren.

Big hitter or part time cruncher, everyone is treated as an equal at The Liberty Belle, but we could sorely use a good stats person. No one says that anyone must stay with the same team for life, and we accept that. If you decide that we are not for you, we will be there to wish you well in whatever you choose to move on to. Sorry to hear that your efforts with Team Anandtech didn't pan out. The humble beginnings remind me of the beginnings of "MyOnlineTeam". It originated in our team captain's home with the first members being himself and his two young daughters. It spread over the next few days to include a friend and his father. Then, he started the original "Join My Online Team" thread here in the forums. That drew a couple of us that spent quite a bit of time helping other WCG members in the "New Member" and "Member to Member Support" forums and got the team tagged with the "Best Supported Team in the WCG" slogan (later, four of the first five Community Admins were among our members). Our team captain built and hosted a team website which originally was a page full of smiley faces (and hence our heavy use of smilies in our posts). Help from other members and time has made our team website one of the best in the WCG. If you click on the pointer in my signature line, you will see what I mean. Team growth since then has been very steady and we have drawn members with modest setups to those with very sophisticated environments which their employers have allowed them to participate with. The team has grown to include 155 active members today and is currently ranked #5 in points. I would like you to check us out and, if you like what you see, we would love to have you join us.
