I don't get it... I'm not getting any work...
All my assigned work has completed... so I restarted my system. I'm still not getting any work... HELP!!! |

I have seen some problems too but it seems that it is downloading well now (for DDDT and HCC).

I have all projects selected...
----------------------------------------they all need to be run.. so I just take them as they come in.. ============================================== For what it's worrh.. I just disabled all projects execpt DDDT & HCC and got some work.. So that tends to indicate there's a problem somewhere.. I too have had several requests which got no work but now I have received one new HCC and one new DDDT.
----------------------------------------Could you please go to the Advanced View, click the Project tab, select WCG and click the Update button. Then tell me if you are getting new tasks. After several unsuccessful requests Boinc is delaying new requests longer and longer. Pressing Update will make it try again earlier than it planned. Cheers. Jean. |

Yes, I had tried that and my singular task was delayed (actually download about 19%) then stopped. I ended up aborting the download, and issuing a retry communications, which immediately started a new download that wound up not completeing. I would try the retry or update and all that happened was that the time to retry would extend... longer and longer with each retry / update request. Barney |

It seems that there are some problems with the distribution of new jobs but either they are not permanent or somebody is working on them.
----------------------------------------I have just had a new unsuccessful request for DDDT work (it was DDDT too the first time) but after selecting "All Projects" in the related profile I have got a new HPF2. So let's keep watching how things are going. Cheers. Jean. |

I had the same problem with a work unit for DDDT. I aborted it in the transfer tab where it was stuck at 45% downloading, then a got another DDDT work unit that got stuck at 6% downloading. Once I aborted that work unit, I was able to get work units from other projects. There is now an item posted in the Known Issues forum related to problems with DDDT doenloading, so it does look like someone is working on this.

The issue with DDDT has been resolved. Normal behavior should be restored. Based on people's info above it appears the issue may have impacted other projects and file download's in general.
Please post below if you were experiencing problems but normal behavior has returned or if you are continuing to have problems. thanks, Kevin |
