Looks as though it "may" take a little time for Free-DC Stats to refresh because of recent database errors at WCG. I had to do a "manual" on the stats; I hope I have not erred by leaving a Team Mate off the list. WCG only lists the Top 5,000 Pie Eaters. I was in Christchurch in 1984, venturing to Antarctica and back. I fell in love with New Zealand. Hey Team Andrax!!!. Isn't this incredible!! I'm sitting on the fence, though. Cherry, or Apple pie??!!

Hi,
I'm enjoying my new pastime, and can see how this becomes obsessive. I'm already looking for deals on parts to build a second cruncher.  As a newb, though, I have a couple of questions. I'm going out of town for several days soon, and wonder if leaving my computer on is okay. I haven't had any problems up- or downloading work so far, and have cable modem. Also, where can I find the stats bar to add to my sig, like the one Chowbow has? Thanks, redstapler |

Thanks, redstapler redstapler, first of all, you can go to: http://sig.braindev.de/ I have already gone there and here is your banner; just copy the image properties ...  You will get your first star when you get 10,000 points generated. And then you will see different color/colour stars as you progress. As far as keeping your computer on, I have a business PC and I have DSL, and have kept it on 24/7 for months now. I remember I had to watch the weather when we had blizzard warnings. I have only missed 2 days due to power outtages since I have been crunching. I would call that safe. I am sure that you have a ups like APC (or whatever brand). And I am glad to see you are enjoying crunching! |
