Am having positive results with beta of wcg boinc program. Haven't worked aHCC unit yet, but my system is running HPF2 50% cooler, and 30% more efficiently, with a 35% increase in points rewarded sofar. This is a full tili boogie improvement over the previous BOINC agent. Recommended you download WCG BOINC agent immediately. I advise all team members to consider this move asap. you can find the link in the beta forum of WCG for the download. Two margaritas please, captain!!!

I am still not sure if what I was seeing was the extended HPF units or a bug, some estimates were coming in at 12-15 hours. So I was only loading in four units at a time on the dual core and around eight on the server (quad). Even though the units were taking 7 hours, which is a 25% increase over what they normally take.

I did read that they increased the complexity of the units so that makes some sense. I think I will install the beta on one quad and see what happens.

HPF2 extended 25% on mine also, but points rewarded reflected were well within the range I expected. I felt that previously it had been underscored. I'm going to check page faults, see if the previous problems have switched research programs...
