THNX again, I might uninstall BOINC from the P3s, coz I think they consume more electricity than do computing...
Dunno if I should save the earth or fight cancer? confused

I don't have any P3s left, but even the slow P4s seem to crunch OK.
I did win one of those Dual Xeon 2.66Ghz machines finally, for $275.
We'll see how it crunches.
It will go on the desk behind me that I usually reserve for whatever machine I am working on/repairing at the moment.
If it is a lot faster than this P4D 925, I may use it and put this machine on the backup desk. LOL

I'm working on building the Dual Quad Core Xeon right now. Hope 4 GB of RAM is enough. laughing

The Dual Quad Core is pumping out workunits left and right. It even boosted me into the top 10,000 in all three categories.

MonsterMash looks like you are going to run over a couple of us in the stats with that machine!

Excellent crunching power, you will move up thru the ranks really quick harvesting that kind of horsepower.

What kind of motherboard did you put in that beast? I had not seen any really good dual processor boards that handled quad cores.
