Re: The Edwardians have arrived!

Good morning all..........

looks like everyone is busy this weekend......Chocolate save some cake for me, my greatest sin is the love of chocolate in any form!

I'm away to Felixstowe for a weekend reunion with my old comrades, be a few tall stories told and many beers sunk.

Whatever your doing, have a safe enjoyable weekend all...

Re: The Edwardians have arrived!

On top of all that Den said
I can now confirm that the TV Programme I mentioned earlier is on BBC1 at 5.50pm on the 4th of November, called "In Living Memory"
I will be asking questions afterwards.
PS If anyone could record it on disc I would be grateful! biggrin

Re: The Edwardians have arrived!

Evening All

Thanks for the info Ted. I was just last evening when posting thinking that it must be coming very soon and hoping you would give our poor ole memory a jog. I shall probably record it but I'm afraid it will be only on my hard disk so I can't help you with a DVD although I ought to have a look at the BBC iPlayer which I have registered for but not yet used. I'm not sure if all programmes of the past week are down-loadable or just their own selected ones.

And, I'm like you Den a savoury man and don't go for cakes or puddings apart from strawberries, raspberries and loganberries in season and without sugar or cream.
One of my delights when a frequent user of the Liverpool to London train service was that they still had a savoury course on offer - angels on horseback and so on.

Re: The Edwardians have arrived!

I must try and sort out my flag problem some time - I'm sure it wasn't the rain.
