Re: The Formula One Thread

We need to get refueling back into F1

It should not be beyond the wit of Man to make it 100% safe to get fuel into a car.

Fuel management is not racing. We need splash and dash back.

This weekend back to BBC highlights of qualifying at 17:30 BST sad (qualifying at 12:00BST) Another afternoon hiding from t'internet so I don't know that Alonso is on pole

Spot on Dave!! They could make some races longer then too. Some are over before you can get a banger and a pint. laughing
Will this season be decided by penalties or good driving and equipment? Looks like the former to me. sad
Congratulations to Nico and Mercedes for the pole. Let's go racing!

Re: The Formula One Thread

Like a 1999 Formula 1 Game in Bahrain ...no crowd.

Nico looks to have it in bag tomorrow. applause

Unless Alonso deploys his light as a feather Ferrari (I'm sure they refuel it through the Tyre Valves wink)

Roll on Tomorrow (Highlights on BBC 17:00-18:30 BST sad)

Re: The Formula One Thread

Well done Rosberg but 2 predators are just behind.
Tifosi son bet again on Alonso ...but starting with medium tires
cud be counterproductive.
The Ferraris cud put pressure on Vettel if they make good start !

Want to try that again? wink
Vettel dominates Bahrain. I got up early and watched it live. Good racing back in the pack but up front it was all Vettel. Once again Webber was a disappointment.

Re: The Formula One Thread

Plenty of needle in that one, maybe it was the heat.

A fully fuelled Merc is not fast thing. Alonso was really unlucky.

Scrap DRS and bring back refuelling - Let's have real racing

You have to hand it to Vettel. (and Kimi and Romain)

I doubt the testosterone levels will be any less come mid May !!

Re: The Formula One Thread

Sunny turns soggy in Spain for practice 1. It was a virtual dead heat in practice 2 between Red Bull and Ferrari.

Re: The Formula One Thread

Loving the hammerhead Sauber

My money is on Kimi

That car is very solid and the garrulous Finn looks like he's taking no prisoners.
