Re: The Formula One Thread

Merc's looking good again

Looks like it will be one big traffic jam this weekend.

Anyone else here remember the year when there were just 4 finishers? I sure Tambay was in a Ferrari

Re: The Formula One Thread

This weekend is a great one for open-wheel racing with the Monaco Grand Prix as well as the Indy 500! I am going to hang a sign on my office door that says, "Gone Racing".
I agree, it looks very good for Nico and Lewis. good luck

Re: The Formula One Thread

I got up early and watched qualifying. It was more exciting than many races. P1 decided in the last 16 seconds of qualifying. Front row to Merc and second row to Red Bull. Misty showers off and on. Will it rain tomorrow?

Re: The Formula One Thread

Searching for the pole was very "exciting than many races " u right
Dataman !
Mercedes in regular progress but the true test is the race.Forecast is for a better weather
Alonso is not well placed but we have seen him in worse situations before; the best for him is to finish narrowing the gap pts
with Raikonnen .

Re: The Formula One Thread

It was Nico's week. Leading every lap he wins at Monaco followed by Vettel and Webber. Red Bull expands its lead in constructor points and Vettel in driver points. It was a bad day for Ferrari. Congratulations to Merc Silver Arrow's first win at Monaco. applause

Re: The Formula One Thread

Perez should get a one race ban

Vettel able to set a lap time 2 seconds faster than anyone else

This is not racing this is just tyre management. Pirelli need to sort it out and stop bringing blancmange tyres to the races.

Michelin nearly lost their brand through the American GP Fiasco. Bridgestone built theirs.

When offered the choice who is going to buy a Pirelli Tyre when their F1 advert is they wear out quickly and explosively de-laminate without warning. biggrin I must get me some of those.

Nico perfectly managed his race

Re: The Formula One Thread

When asked about secret trying of ( new?) Pirelli tyres before the w-e Rosberg eluded the question. "Ask elsewhere" he said wink
