Re: Formula One 2007 Season

Well, even though I knew the result, I watched the replay late this morning just to see what the conditions were like.
It looks as if Alonso has now blown it and it must have been galling to see the Rookie being the master of the conditions.
And so, the whiter than white Ferrari team tried to pull a fast one which doesn't at all detract from Kimi showing his real skill by never giving up.
Hamilton now just has to keep out of trouble.

Stewards investigating Hamilton for Webber-Vettel crash

McLaren driver and championship leader Lewis Hamilton is under investigation by the race stewards over his behaviour behind the safety car in Sunday's Japanese Grand Prix our colleagues at Autosport.com report.

The FIA has said it is investigating Hamilton's behaviour behind the safety car as new evidence was brought to the Stewards. Hamilton was slowing down a lot causing Sebastian Vettel to crash into Mark Webber.

The case might be reopened after the FIA noticed a video at Youtube of the accident, filmed by a Formula 1 fan in the grandstands.

Re: Formula One 2007 Season

Well fortunately he has been cleared of doing anything untoward. I must say that when I was watching the race I had no thoughts that he was doing anything special. The leader always plays around a little to keep the queue guessing about how he will handle the restart - or in this case, the actual start.

Of course, if I hit another car up the rear, it's never really my fault!!

Let's hope it's a good race.

Re: Formula One 2007 Season

And the lad's done it again. On pole despite the superiority of the Ferraris during practice.

Will he clinch it tomorrow?

Here's hoping he won't. Would only be better for the championship.
Besides that I picked Raikkonen as winner on our F1-pool at work. praying devilish
