Re: The Formula One Thread

Rain already in the second free practice so we may be in for an exciting race in wet/dry conditions.
The red cars are looking pretty strong though.

Re: The Formula One Thread

I suppose the question is 'was Hamilton running lighter to make sure of pole'.
The red cars certainly seem to like this track so it's not over 'till it's over'.
Still, it should be worth watching tomorrow.

Re: The Formula One Thread

What a finish!! @#$#$ Kimi really deserved those points. If I'm not mistaken then LH punctured Kimi's rear tyre causing Kimi to go off..on second thought that would not be possible, since it's was the right rear. rolling eyes

Re: The Formula One Thread

I think the Stewards decision was a trifle harsh to say the least. From what I saw on television Hamilton backed off at the chicane to let Kimi back in front and then later overtook when Kimi ran out of road.

As for my previous comment about the last race when Ferrari got a slap on the wrist and Massa no penalty, I see that on the F2 race this weekend, for a similar offence a drive through penalty was awarded so that the certain win was lost.

I'm not really saying which is right, just that consistency ought to be the name of the game.
