Good Morning Base Campers! Everything is quiet on the Finnish front  except for our New Camper tanner2 having joined that Trek- and made the bell curve wiggle - all by himself |

Upon inspecting our Host Team's member list, I noticed that
tanner2went back to his home team and slid right into his stall Thank you for your contribution - you earned your wings - and you also earned your badge, which TLD will deal you in our castle as soon as he can  - and you made the curve at Team My efforts against childhood cancer look like a humpback whale  Congratulations - much to celebrate today, eh? |

 - someone read the rule book- even the small print - a sure sign of Base Camp genes The captains of the teams recently visited by Base Camp have not had any qualms about big splashes - but we don't want to hurt anyone's feelings - and yes I regard swimming around and collecting intelligence as the second most important part of my job description  - trying my perkele - look it up in your Finnish dictionary - best to keep the Base Campers happy is #1 I wonder: Would you happen to be some kind of a RAMMIE clone, tanner2? |

Good Evening Base Campers!
Just back from a supper buffet followed by a Christmas Concert with upstairs Yvonne. The sound level was absolutely deafening! I'll never do it again. It was not as if it was a rock concert - then I would have expected a high volume, but here!! Mamma Mia  The best part was when we all sang a capella: Dejlig er jorden - Delightful Is our Earth  Well more like liten djevelen ;) tanner2, you have sprinkled riddles in your footsteps. 1. "more like liten djevelen" - more like the little devil - Norwegian to the best of my knowledge 2. In our castle you wrote: "How in the world did you know the correct flag for my heritage?" and those flags were these: - the ancient Danish flag of "Dannebrog" that fell from the sky when we Danes were about to loose a battle at Lyndanisse in Estonia in AD1219. The flag changed the name of the game. It is probably the oldest flag in the world and most certainly the longest continuously used one and that in the world's oldest monarchy.  Now tanner2 - no doubt you are a Viking, but whether you are of the Norwegian variety or the Danish is not entirely clear yet, but I'll go with Danish Is that correct? - and thank you for challenging me - I like it and I don't mind making a fool of myself in public  |

- well some of you hardly went to bed yet, but that's global living Everything is quiet in Finland Everything is quiet here If I didn't blabber it would be scarily quiet here  Shop Talk tanner2 has his first badge We have suggestions for our Christmas Trek - it would be nice with some more - some not made by me! There are comments on one of the suggestions that suggest that suggestion might be the one we choose - unless ... Gossip BTW - I finally had the good chance to say hello to Dick_Dastardly crunching with Team Andrax - who was Gromit with Base Camp. Do you remember Gromit? International: Currently crunching with Geokamayok's Team KYUUNINKAI TASK FORCE undeniably makes me think Japan: Sabre Dance  |
