Good Afternoon Base Campers!
Our Christmas Trek is joined by more and more - as of writing these 18 Base Campers (of which four are visisting Musketeers) have joined: nap2614 mike047 sunfolk PecosRiverM little mermaid blackheeler Bryan_@_Musketeers Dan T. It may be as a permanent member inspired by the commotion which would be perkele/jolly good. We have been promised free drinks from a bottomless well and self-stocking cyber-bar by Comrade Terry, and I think we should see if we can find the bottom of that well ... No, I did not know.
----------------------------------------Do they try to drown them?  It is a beautiful ship. Is it a training ship - school ship? I do remember the skyline of Buenos Aires seen from the harbour/the river - you have many pretty new buildings - high rises - and the Puente de Mujer is so elegant - I think the Italian knack for art and architecture rubbed off - but the old public buidings are also charming such as Aduana I remember a pretty ship anchored in Puerto Madero looking almost like the Liberdad - the Presidente Sarmiento. Is that a training ship as well? EDIT: I ought to put a picture up of Puente de Mujer - The Women's Bridge - there are too many to choose from, because it is so photogenic  [Edit 2 times, last edit by Former Member at Dec 17, 2011 11:20:22 PM] |

Good Morning Base Campers!
On my morning beat I found we have been joined by yet another Musketeer Cappy [Team Musketeers] - welcome to Base Camp's Christmas Trek! I also found that the USMC graph is RAMMIng the ceiling of their mess tent - but Comrade Terry assured me that Marines only almost spill liquids - even if this may make hurricane size waves in sombody's tea cup If anyone out there in WCGland would like to try their hand making the waves even higher - yes YOU! you are cordially invited: Oop-I-Du-Pers Ball |

Good Morning Base Campers!
Since yesterday we have been joined by AlephNull who apparently no longer gets his mass e-mails from us in his spam folder and KWSN-Gemjunkie [TeaM] who is one more Team Musketeer who decided to make this Christmas Trek a special one for us, where Base Camp is being helped from likeminded friends I for one did not know about until now. Thank you both for joining. And thank you Musketeers for acting on pwrguru and TLD's idea. Killing Floor I think you all do a great job. USMC are not verbose people, but they have been most forthcoming in the food and drink department. The internet is full of pictures of grilling long pigs in there entirety. That has to wait - I cannot stomach it. Bly me! It's morning in Denmark ...  No White Christmas in sight here - and I certainly hope not in the whereabouts of blackheeler and sunfolk - but what about the rest of you?  - he-he it updates all by itself |
