Good Morning Base Campers!
Looking around I see we have nanoprobe in. I had awaited his arrival for a long time, I didn't say anything, tho, and it didn't hurt too much. Welcome, nanoprobe. We did say goodbye to shiva [team musketeers] and deltavee whose departure were a bit uncertain at some point and RAMMIE also packed his gear and called a fleet of Peterbilts to transport it. Thank you very much for your contribution Upstairs Yvonne and I shall go upstairs. Rockefeller Center call their observation deck "Top of the Rock" and we'll light a candle in St. Patricks Cathedral - and I guess it will be hard to prevent Yvonne to storm Macy's  We'll have coffee with Base Camper AlephNull from Team U.S. Air Force which is a treat that no tourist guide books mention. |

It was a little hard for Alephnull and me to make an appointment.
The idea was a long shot from me - a late long shot jokingly made "If you are in the neighbourhood ...." To my amazement he took me up on it. He thought it would be a good test for his new car to go some 250 miles out and 250 miles back. Where to meet? My cell phone has found no network  - I don't know New York very well - I leafed through a "New York City Guide" from the reception to see if I could find a place - and happened upon Lindy's which had a street corner in the ad 7th at 53rd St and suggested that out of the blue. Answer: "I know exactly where that is!" It's a small world  |
