Good Morning Base Campers!

I'd be drifting over to Fountain Pen Hospital if I were in NYC to look at all the gorgeous fountain pens, but that's my particular obsession...<blush>

I never had oysters, but that may have to wait Tomorrow we'll have lunch at Mesa owned by a TV cook - Bobby Flay - that Yvonne admires. @ TLD: Thank you Good Evening Base Campers! NAP2614 left our New Years Trek with Crunching@EVGA - thank you for being there but in came b2i welcome!Today Yvonne and I visited The Metropolitan Museum. I expected it to be larger than I expected, which was large, but it was much, much larger. It was huge. What we saw was but a tiny, but enjoyable, fraction. It ought to be chopped up into small bites .... the sheer size is intimidating. It was freezing cold outside - classic hot cocoa weather - and in the basement we had just that - with whipped cream - the real thing - and the addition of marshmallows. In the afternoon we stood in line in what people claim is the coldest place in New York: tkts We got seats for Chicago tonight |

Our New Years Trek runs smoothly - the crew today is unchanged from yesterday - and even as we have some heavy artillery with us - we do not rock our host's boat all that much Good thing we did not wait until they brought in their friends, family and Facebook friends New Campers or visiting ones are Welcome to help us make a mark on WCG's new whirlwind team New York January 3, 2011 - I'm afraid I'm the only one to have slept my way through a musical All that Jazz |
