Good Morning Base Campers!
Ghost Plane How is your coughing this morning? Office opens late, because the octopus went to the doctor's and got an appoinment for 1½ hours later, the market for flowers, doctor again, pharmacy, bought a purse to replace the bad one that doesn't hold money, picked up photos I took of my downstairs neighbor building a fence (they are Serbs), bought a rain gauge - I need to measure downpour - got ......... oh, you don't want to know - and I was lucky to get to brew your coffee before you got up.  -Helle- og kskjold I var her begge i går. Jeg prøvede at komme i forbindelse med jer, men nåede Jer ikke. Hvis I kommer igen, vil vi meget hilse på jer, så skriv et par ord til os. Current Trek #27 BitBendersTech: Again everything was pleasant and quiet at the Base Camp Camp Ground. Nobody came. Nobody left. And the menfolk continued their conversation with soft voices at the truck-stop corner. Upcoming Outpost Trek #2 - U.S. Air Force @ Collatz Conjecture: cswchan again you improved on those numbers yesterday. Gap narrowed by almost 3%. I shall put up the numbers in The Igloo 2 for all to inspect and as an inspiration as to what our goal could be. Although I much prefer the navy color, I decided to use a green at least until May 1. This way there should not be any questions as to where my loyalties lie during that Trek [- except for this green, which is pretty enough, is called seagreen.] Base Camp University opened its gate. Sport called his students to class in Sport's Stat School, but some snafu caused the project to misfire in all directions, so we'll have to start over when all have rested. As long as you all behave as well as you do, I cannot gossip all that much. So let me give you a snapshot from Denmark today: Spring really has arrived. Smiles everywhere. People are happy. Forsythias are exploding in that very special forsythia-yellow - well fitting for Easter, which traditionally calls for yellow and green. On my early morning stroll, I met several people who had decided for Spring in earnest and donned their shorts at 8 AM astronomically. Well, we certainly deserve that. We have suffered really unpleasant weather since November 24. Almost five months. But that is all forgotten as soon as we are blessed with a day like this - much like a new mother who forgets the pain upon taking her baby in her arms. Besides, if colors can attract one or two new Campers to help out with the upcoming Trek,
we'll keep using them. |
