Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

I counted up all the cores I have running under Android and the total was 34. Add that to the 20 cores from my desktop PC, my wife's PC and my daughters old laptop from college and I have 54 cores crunching for the cause. shock Almost 2 months of CPU time every day from a motley collection of hardware. I'm going to see if I can find more. We can do it!

T -27 hours.

Cheers coffee

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

nana nanana

Midnight French time, it's ok, we will not say that it's cheating not to be UTC?

I also allowed myself to do some advertising on facebook. But hey, everyone's way of saying thank you to SNURK for the pretty signatures?

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

To start well, a nice plate. Aligo sausage, with lots of garlic and pepper, to be well traditional.

Roquefort next? As you may not be used to, I do like when I selected for foreigners? Medium creamier, but not too green? Direct in the cellar, you have to go to the source.

It's great to see the spirit all of you display,
music, food, and all kinds of crunching gear running to help
bring SNURK and friends into the Top Ten of the THOR Challenge.

- all what I hoped for and then some smile

PecosRiverM has not shown up on SNURK's payroll yet.

I'm told he's delayed by keeping the cats entertained.
I wonder what will happen to the graphs when the combined production
of all the processors of the SNURK active share of the above crunchers unload tonight.
I wonder, too, how many processors go into this effort.
My own number will be to the modest side - just 19 I'm afraid not very fast ones.
In the background, I hear the small drum begin Ravel's Bolero working it's way to the crescendo will sound.
Thank you each and everyone love struck for taking
SNURK and his team SNURK and friends to where he deserves to be
for all he has done for all crunchers regardless of their power and rank.

Chit-chat
OldChap took my account through Sapphire for SCC and Ebola so fast
that nobody got to see it before both badges turned into 5-year diamonds.
Thank you very much, OldChap

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

NixChix,

What to fill up with energy in addition to feasting.

little mermaid,

In total, I only have 9 calculation threads. (My old PC can not do two anymore, otherwise it stops overheating)
But hey, at the update of noon, it was already something more for SNURK

wink

I did not pay attention. Yesterday, I beat my record of results returned: 140! It's not much next to your configurations, but it's always nice to break a record.

smile

So pretty Team :

stefada, I occasionally have the overheating problem too. I then blow the dust out from the computer. I'll know that dust buildup was the problem when lots of dust comes out. The dust prevents the computer from cooling properly.

Cheers coffee

Yes, stefada, exactly the diversity that makes a Base Camp crew

We have coffee, we have tea, we have hot cocoa
and I hired someone who can bake (Upstairs Yvonne) to fix us some cakes smile
