Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

----------
We were afraid of being late, so we already arrived with Louloup. He helped me by pulling my tricycle, which was loaded.

So, I check not to have forgotten anything:

- aligot / grilled sausages, north Aveyron style
- Buckwheat pancake, with everything you need to make a 'complete', as in southern Finistère
- Savoyard fondue
- Italian coffee maker, with super good Peruvian coffee
- bowls, and Breton cider to fill them.
- some bottles of wine, red and white, some dishes are not eaten with a glass of water
- lemonade and fruit juice, always have some
- treats for Puppy and Louloup

I think we have everything, all we have to do is find a table big enough to put it all together. Hop hop hop, must be put in place!

What more I have an idea of recipe that I have never tried before: buckwheat pancake, with American avocados (we have it?), Shrimp and peppers(poivrons?), and a little Chilean pepper(piment ?). Maybe to flambé with a dry white wine of Alsace? I do not know at all, I have to test.

You can travel with your plate. My mom taught me that. As soon as she sees a recipe she does not know, she has to try. And as she cooks very well (in 40 years that I know her, saying she missed once, but we feasted), we had the opportunity to taste many good things.

For the continuation, it is the principle of the Spanish inn! If you want something more, like a special garnish, you bring it. And everyone is using, I will not do the service.

Important note: No one gives food to Louloup, without my permission! We put all the leftovers aside, he will feast, but he only eats once all humans have finished. It's very important for a dog, it's even a basic education. He will see you put the remains aside, and he knows very well that it is for him (sitting, tail in fan, looking at you), as he knows he must wait his turn. To be wise, to have aligot sausage in addition to its croquettes, that does not pose any problem to him. On the contrary, it's the reward of being wise.

TOP 3, we comming !
good luck

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Little Mermaid !

Quelle responsabilité tu me donnes !

What responsibility do you give me! Especially since I ask myself a big question: With aligot, a Chilean merlot or Californian? That Bordeaux is old-fashioned.
A bottle of each, and each one chosen?

So questions ...

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Little Mermaid,

Yes, for avocados, a dry white of Alsace. With the Savoyard fondue, a semi-dry of Bourgogne. But for the Aligot, you need a Merlot. And as much as I like to promote France, as much nowadays, Chileans and Californians are much better than Bordeaux.

Also, I just realized, that I had forgotten a dessert! I asked a Bigouden to give us an express delivery.
Another Breton specialty, Kouign-amann. It is a 400% pure butter cake, which is usually eaten warm, and with a bowl of cider.

Bon appétit, and crunch well for SNURK !
good luck
