Which is?
One log hinted that is looked as if it could have been a bench, and it does, one which has not been raised above the ground, though, making it a bench good for using your thigh muscles.

2001: A Space Odyssey
The galatic powers used a mysterious monolith to change mankind from apes, then to communicate with them and finally take a specimin to another part of the universe.

LM - the PD isn't cooperating in my quest. I need better bait!

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

I noticed another model yesterday: Pink barrels joined as a pig.
It should be able to put a major pressure on most everyone.
But frankly, in this case it's hardly the way to go.
Wish I could think of something, Ghost Plane, I really do.
good luck

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Good Morning Base Campers
Outpost Trek #2 - U.S. Air Force @ Collatz Conjecture
the same crew has reduced the gap so it's down to 88,5 mio points to go for balance!
To obtain this will be undoable. We only have one week left.
However, it should be within reach to take U.S. Air Force's Collatz Conjecture team to 200 mio points,
alephnull shouted at he AF Collatz Forum. So let's keep that in mind.

Planted my garden. Promised to show it when it's done. Well, it looks a little ragdoll like
when the plants are just transferred, but if they thrive, I'll make new pictures later.
I also need some more herbs. I have normal tomatoes, cherry ones, hot chili pepper, chives and basil.
Rosemary and thyme are a must. My downstairs across will supply lemon balm,
and then I'll need parsley and perhaps dill seeds
- oh, I'm beginning to sound like Ghost Plane and I don't have a fraction of her space.

Let's do another heartbreaker, GP
It's a Heartache - Nothing But a Heartache ... <sighhhh....>
Now, I'll load my GPS and take off for lechef69's second challenge
- do you feel like joining me, GP?

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Love that song!

We have until next January to figure out what we'll do about the PD situation.

No lemon balm here. Funny how I'm having to scour the garden centers to find a decent mix of plants. Suspect I got started too late in our season. That and everyone is focused on tomatoes since the price is higher than steak these day.

Does he like music like this?

Are you building up a Florida tomato equivalent of the
tulip bulb bubble
of AD 1637 in the Netherlands?

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Good Afternoon Base Campers
Outpost Trek #2 - U.S. Air Force @ Collatz Conjecture:
Steadily trotting forward. If we now assume a realistic goal may be reaching the 200 mio mark,
we have a little under 30 mio to collect before the this Trek officially is over.

Yesterday I went for my third geocache trip. Not further away than I could walk.
Took many pictures, but lost most of them upon uploading because the camera's battery ran out.
Will make the trip - 7km/4½ miles again to capture the things once again. One of the few saved pictures:

I went back in our team thread to collect the music we have linked to and made a playlist on YouTube
with a little advertising for crunching. Not that I think anyone will ever want a playlist this queer,
I'll still post the link here for 1 hour and 29 minutes worth of crazily combined music.
Base Camp 1
Base Camp invites
you crunching in loneliness
or
you needing a bit of time off from your favorite team
to come to our camp on the Northern Arizona high plain near the San Francisco Peaks.

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Probably. We've already had the housing bubble.

I found 2 of the most fragrant gardenia plants I've ever smelled. You could float on the scent alone!

PD is more fond of classical music, heavy on the opera.
