Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

It's OK but not as good as Sport's theme song, which I can't remember the title of - you know, the one where the guy's friends grow long noses and his dog turns into a cartoon?

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

It's called:
Matchbox Twenty - Unwell
- also part of Base Camp 2 playlist
- and yes, it's good, and getting better by the times you listen

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Interesting, Sport, worth having shaking mouses/mice? for
Good Morning Base Campers
When I step out of our house there is a big patch of Alchemilla called Lion Foot in Denmark.
The leaves of that particular plant always display rain in the nicest of ways.

rwillis has declared his deep attachment to his avatar, so having spoken out,
I shall remain forever quiet about the issue.
Ghost Plane, I hope you are ready to post pictures of your garden now.
Remember to change the upper case IMG to lower case in the tag.

In the music department, I decided to cover a variety of tastes starting with
The Song of the Volga Boatman by the Russian Red Army Choir
going to the beautiful song from Madame Butterfly that made me cry the very first time
I saw an opera in my life in The Royal Theater in Copenhagen
- we have a new Opera House now, ought to go there soon
Un bel di, vedremo sung by legendary Maria Callas
followed by a pleasant version of Tango Jalousie from our Base Camp 1 playlist,
which was there more for the passionate dancing than for the musical performance
Tango Jalousie
ending with an unprejudiced version of Dr. Hook's
A Little Bit More
- could anybody tell me why he has to be "laying flat out on the floor"?

We are ready for
You
as a New Camper in Base Camp

Interesting... does that mean WCG will be using GPUs soon?

Practising emoticons from Dan Holtz's rich emoticon mine!

USAFA 82 - I asked you this question to which I'm still curious to have your answer. Hope you notice this time around
- if not, I'll probably ask you again
USAFA 82, what is it you're missing in your sig line between stats and the flag?
When I asked Gerald Rube of My Online Team that question, he said it was his pet ant.
Gerald Rube's pet ant may - as some Base Campers - have gone AWOL; it's not there any more.

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

densnaps, thank you for dropping by with goodies from your snapshooting ...
Yes, it is now Sport, but that was before his pet ant was obliterated.
Before that Gerald Rube's siggy had the same "missing" red x as does USAFA 82's
making me think there is something I don't know - some symbolism, some secret message ....
Good Morning Base Campers
Quiet days around these days - a little too quiet ...
The busy lizzys I put in the pot at our entrance turned out to be pink instead of white.
Well, could be worse, but white would have been nice.

So, Ghost Plane: We are waiting for pictures of your garden ....

Nothing to add but a little music:
Most of Europe starts the New Year with a Concert from Musikverein in Vienna by the Wiener Philharmoniker.
This one is from the 2010 concert where Johann Strauss's Danube Waltz traditionally was played
- don't miss the video that takes you cruising from Germany to the delta at the Black Sea
An der schönen blauen Donau
Not to break the mood you hopefully have worked up we take one more beautiful instrumental piece:
Song from a Secret Garden

We are in the mood for welcoming
You
