----------------------------------------@ Little Mermaid - There is no article of clothing in any US Marine Corps Uniform known as pants, ergo Marines do not/can not wear them. Sunfolk may know if the New Zealand Army has different regulations for who is authorized to wear their "Campaign Cover". However, I think we can cut sunfolk some slack and let him wear a ceremonial USMC "Campaign Cover" for the duration of the trek. Perhaps we may even let him keep it in recognition of the avatar contained in his forum signature next to the Base Camp avatar. .  |

Little Mermaid, I wouldn't have minded a bit if you'd taken a drink while the pig was airborne. I assume that you tired of waiting for my response, and went ahead and imbibed to your heart's content. I was remiss for leaving you on tenterhooks.
 I would have been delighted to join you, and I'm sad that I squandered the opportunity. Yes, I did find some recipes for Rice à l'amande, and I'm going to make some this weekend. Ski, I remember a shirt being called a blouse, and I didn't have any difficulty with that. I was a little perplexed at the rationale of calling a necktie a field scarf though. And the Irish pennants. Woe be unto him who has Irish pennants or anything else not squared away! |

In our Base Camp team thread I chose to post a symbolic drawn pig because of the time of day my time ... Well, and, admitted I did take a Gin&Tonic too much; I'm afraid it shows. - looking at sunfolk's pants, sorry, trousers, sorrryyyy: slacks kind of required some starch to keep me from fainting. Yes, and after a few tumblers I did call the number and said he was doing fine builder's cleavage wise You can join me now, Comrade Terry, I just asked the bartender to please open another bottle of Gin. I hope you'll like the rice à l'amande. Gin will be the wrong pick to go with that. May I recommend a cherry wine (Kijafa is the best) if is it possible to trace such one in Sarasota or environs? A Cherry Heering - renamed Peter Heering for to me obscure American reasons - would be excellent, too, and has a little more black powder to it - and it seems as if the importer is right there over in Miami  You may spill some of it into the cooled off rice porridge when you start to dressing up the thing with the goodies. I have also found that maple syrup is a fine substitute for the bit of sugar. Let me hear how you like it, please. You may not fancy the music - I'm not all that crazy about it myself - One but we in Denmark are mighty proud that the drummer is Danish. Being small, we are satisfied with small things  The finer details of Irish pennants and such, I'm too imbibed to grasp, sorry  - but it also sounds like shop talk, right? |
