I ordered a new machine for kids today.
----------------------------------------One of the P4/1.5Ghz/768MB systems died, so a Dual Core AMD 2.2Ghz/2GB/400GB machine is going on that desk. For $249 I thought it was decent enough for them and their MySpace. LOL |

The really funny part comes when your 4 yr old walk up and starts discussing with you the current router setting for your network like a Cisco engineer. Then promotes a debate to possibilities of upgrade to fully managed level2 routers,. Casually giving pro's & con's including a cost breakdown vs. benefit analysis.
----------------------------------------When you start to ask what this is about, you pause as you remember a 4 yr old is talking. But before you can say a word, the child says, "Don’t worry, I'm only looking at what I will be needing to maintain Internet dominance well into the next decade, when I play 3D Candyland online.” |
