I'm working on the production logisics to the next big race for WCG SPORTS. It is a linked circuit of races that will span 61 days. Each race in the circuit is part of a track used in the Forumula 1 race held in Singapore last Sept. The objective is to link race types like straights and corners in a way that gives more teams a compeditive edge.
----------------------------------------If you look at the new races that have included the new race types, you will notice it does not play well for larger "high output" teams. This makes it possible for the newer teams to "steal an inside move". I just need to work out the order of play so it doesnt bias the game in anyones favor. To get things moving, there will be a PreQual series until the end of the year. This will give enough time to develop the track as well as a viewer base. LOL, I took classes in the Russian language in school, but haven't used it since. That's only been 35 years ago....which makes it a little hard to remember for an old guy! <uses liquid nitrogen to cool the CPU (and speed it up)>    |

LOL, The Q6850X is the extreme edition quad core...it should be smokin... If I ever got a check like that, I would have to go into hiding to avoid all the 'new friends' that would try to find me...LOL |

I just put the Dual Quad Core Xeon back up. The system was a bit quirky with the agent so I needed to make sure it wasn't the agent that was causing an overheat. The problem stayed even without the agent installed, so it is crunching again, for a short while at least.

Wow, I made it Lt. Not ensign anymore. Suppose by working hard like the rest of us.
Within a few months, I will replace my pc at home, probably with a quad. Maybe, there is still a chance for further promotion. Btw, almost 3,000,000 points produced for the team. Does anyone know when our points will by divided by 7? We'll have totally new milestones. |
