Re: .

They literally can make a noise, almost like speaking would be capital crime or something.

I think people shout like that because they are all half deaf from listening to too much loud music and trying to talk over it. It gets to be a habit and they can not break it, because they only hear loud noises.
Cheers

There are times when boring is good. This seems like one of them. At least the horses got out and got some fresh air and exercise. I don't think all those people on horses are "dudes." I don't know the proper term if the person in question is female but can only think of "dudette." (Sorry if borrowing from the French is not acceptable.)
Cheers

Some more.

Juhannusaatto (eve of the Middsummer eve) tomorrow, theoretically workday, but on praxis payed holiday because equal to independence day. Well even it is just eve of actuall holiday.
So loaded already, as respect for original culture of course of course.

Well, not only one. Capability to swim among popularity is quite equal to walk, but on some odd reason, tomorrow öbaut half a dozen people will drown.
Some official statics öbaut it, first colum males, ladies and total.

Sad part of all this is, that all those years when public anti-drowning department advertising funding has been increased, numbers of drown peoples has scientifically reduce. Fixures has nothing to do with climate, economics etc. There is only direct comparability with government add budget.
Seriously, so those dudes on their second last moment has remember TV-add called not to drown this year and follow instruction and just swim back to beach as model citizens.

Seriously, this is seriously odd country.

Think it has something to do with anatomy, quite sure that last action of those drowned ones has been throwing aqua to water from boat.
Waiting official numbers on begin on next week, my bet is on: four on water, six on roads, three on land.
Last year winning row was six on water, seven on road and three on land. Kind of local lottery or something.

Sure was fun and still alive.
Today more traditional party day today, so it is bowler and mechanical watch for me.

Re: .

Ah, the first day of Summer, most daylight for the year today. I see for your location in Helsinki the almanac says 22h57 min of visible light. Enjoy it all. Here we will have 16h 57min of visible light. Still a long day. And no rain today. Yes biggrin
Will be running in a 5k today. Actually not running, but trotting. Running is what the young guys do, smile
Cheers

Re: .

Sure lut light, but temperatre is murderous low. Litteraly even on south, close to water freezing point (0´C).
On good old days, this would mean some good old famine.

Actuall did not get all dry feets from this Juhannus.
Did lost very close and beloved operating system. Did everything on my hands to save it, but finally did just need to give up.
Even Winston was purrles, just silenty crossing his legs. Poi how our operating system was missed crying
