Re: .

I see in Finland it has a complicated name: 102 RSLPSTOHJ NLAW.

Cheers

It sure is kind of odd, but please let me help:

102 = inner bore of tube in millimeters
RS = Raskas (heavy)
L = Lähi (close)
PS = Panssaroitu (armoured)
T = Torjunta (defence)
OHJ = Ohjus (missile) .... Seriously, somebody will be executed such a waste of letters.

N = New (uusi)
L = Light (kevyt)
A = Anti-tank (panssarintorjunta)
W= Weapon (ase)

All the sudden, Swedish name RB57 just make so much more sense, like pizza made out of frutti de mare or dillinger love struck

Kippis (cheers)!

Cold & gray here, a.k.a; bau. Imho, crappy.

Sure did have nice summer, sure will remember 2014. Best part is that still got two winter holiday (from 2013) and 20 summer vacation days left tongue
After those, well something like five days as on winter holiday (2014).

Re: .

Some field days coming, so did some testing about modern MRE (Meal Ready to Eat) and have to say that these new ones actually beats some local cafeterias.

These are directly out of bag (there was heating pack also, but heat these little with running hot water) and dear golly those were so eatable.

Re: .

That chair does not look comfortable. It looks like it is modeled after the chairs which are carved out of a single stump.

And it sure is not, if looking place to rest your feet or something.

Architect (Eliel Saarinen ) who draw that chair, has obviously want to make siting on it as active function, very much like standing.
There is shield on back of chair and on local etiquette it is not aloud to set it to subordinate status, so even there is this high back, it is there to keep sitter posture up, not to give support or anything.

I think this pic explain a lot:

Re: .

Some vase. Sure, very same shield on it but on modernized version. It's train wheel that spit fire, symbolizing meaning of railway to city.
As village it has been mentioned first time on 1445, but area did become town very lately (1905).
