04: RT - 19,546 points W00T ... someone is cranking it up! Yes, and we have some crusing below the radar too! sulcata has been putting up some nice, consistent numbers too. Rulkethecharon is back with us again with some nice numbers as well. We also have lots of folks like sammercer who contribute regularly - and that's just as important if not more inportant than how big their numbers are. |

That still has us making a decent run on 75,000,000 points for the year but it's no gimme yet! Relax ... it's in the bag ... though I hope "points" are gone by then. Time to start thinking about credits though.  "Times ... They are a-changin'"  |

Any new projects coming out soon? Are we going to get "new paper" anytime soon also? Dr. Mike..  As Dave said, I'll start a new one soon. Folks prefer that I keep threads down to 500 posts but I also like to have a thread run for at least a month too. New one coming Tuesday. |

Afternoon everyone... I haven't posted in a bit, but i'm still crunching.  I'm hoping to get a new machine in the near future, to add to my current desktop. The laptop I have doesn't seem to be working correctly. Figures...I'm also HOPING to hear from the program in Virginia about a fellowship/job this coming week. Also, next weekend i'll be in Vancouver, B.C. for a conference. I'm spending big bucks to go; it's for information and personal networking experience (that's technical talk for kissing ***). I'll be with the biggest names in Child Abuse Medicine on the Planet. One day I hope to be one of them. Hope everyone is doing well. Dr. Mike P.S. Some great crunching numbers lately! Well, Corpus Christi to Vancover is a bit of a drive so that means you'll probably be flying. That's always fun these days. Adding a border crossing only adds to the fun. Hope they let you back in! In particular, here's hoping you go there in a VERY good mood! |

Okay, up late finishing loading a bunch of new graphics to website. We now have just under 1300 different smilies. I'll get pages set up for all the graphics and then update the header and HOF points banners along with getting prepped for the points conversion.

Oh, while I'm thinking about it, handy (possibly) little trick for getting around in the thread after it's beyond 500 posts. Normally, when you click on the Last Page icon in the Last Post column of the Teams forum thread list, what opens is a URL like this: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/...6&offset=600#lastpost or this: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/...ad=21826&lastpage=yes
----------------------------------------The &offset=n provides a hint. Change the &offset=n#lastpost or &lastpage=yes to &offset=n where n is the number of posts AFTER the header you want to go to. n can be any number, not just a multiple of how many posts you have set to display on a page. Thus, using &offset=627 will take you straight to this post. |

Good morning everyone! Got a parade here in town to honor Christine Magnuson, our home town Olympic medalist (2 silvers in Beijing). A bit cloudy right now, but it is supposed to clear some as the day passes. With a high in the low 70's, it should be a great day for a parade! I'm going to drive over to see it on my old 4 wheeled scooter. Looking forward to a nice afternoon.
