Re: Change in RICE work unit runtime

I've got nothing but batches 301-303 now... all 10 hours.

I've just got the one PC crunching rice at the moment and it was being very linear about it and seemed to be taking the batches in order - It had got up to 316 and 317, and then all of a sudden has started processing 254 and 255... my time of the 6-hour WUs has come!

Re: Change in RICE work unit runtime

I have received a lone one on March 21. Then I have received them continuously since March 31. And since this morning I am getting 6-hour ones again, with one reaching 6 hours and 13 minutes! I had not seen such a delay to finish the last seed before. They run on my P4 HT in dual mode, so it is slow, but still...

Cheers. Jean.

Re: Change in RICE work unit runtime

[offtopic]You're not alone. Several checkpoints after the 6th hour completed and ending on 6:11 hours, but if you're running a test client of 6.6, the CPU time column is actually Elapsed time (Wallclock), and when looking on the RS page it shows as 6.01 hours. Yes, had some debate over on Berkeley about that and even a special build with CPU and Elapsed time columns side by side... oh and all because of a GPU time recording issue.[/offtopic]
