Here in Colorado Springs this afternoon it has been from the mid 30s to 40 degrees F. (about 4 degrees C.) Very windy with gusts up to 40 mph. We are getting the remains of the California storms. The downslope westerly winds from the mountains on the west side of the city dry out the air. Therefore, no snow -- but predicted to get some Weds or Thurs.

What's the weather like?: Well it's been howling
----------------------------------------http://ilcentro.gelocal.it/multimedia/home/22676025/1/2  Photographed this morning, wolf, just across the mountain pass at the Pescasseroli ski resort... barely any snow, one shot of 11 showing some in the farthest distance. Below we've not seen a flake come down since December 16, 2008. Now 11C, the Chinese roaches, who obviously don't belong here, feasting on the remaining innards of the palm-trees, soon that import plant which has been in our cultivated landscape for centuries will be a thing of the past.  Real Feel about 7C according accuweather.

-14,8 °C here and according to our daily paper, roads are very slippery. There has been reported over 50 car accidents already (in our scale that is a lot), just in our capital city. We'll see how much more there will be when people start heading home from work...

Today it was the Fall out Me Chair day. The cherry tree is in blossom. Wide open white flowers. Talk about tipsy turfy.
----------------------------------------For tonight the telescope is lined up to shoot some last pictures of the waining moon, still large following Perigee a few days ago... snow predicted for midnight:  would the cherry tree like it?
