Re: smilesmile Join "MyOnlineTeam" Today - Chapter 33 smilesmile

Thanks to all of you. What amazes me is the fact that this time I am quitting with no assistance. No pills, patches, gum or lozenges. I quit smoking cold turkey. Considering the fact that I never smoked any turkey, hot, cold or even lukewarm, that is a real trick!

Good job-i quit in 79 threw a carton out the window and put a roll of certs in my pocket every time i wanted one id pop one in my mouth--it took about a year and i didnt want the certs--keep up the good work --Gerald

Thanks, Gerald. Instead of Certs, I am eating anything in sight -- LOL

Dave. You can make it. I actually had dreams about it for a long time ... probably a year. But you have the worst well behind you and though it gets better in infinitesimal, even imperceptible, increments, it does get better and better.

As to you guys building an I7 machine, I would love to be in on the discussion. Mostly eavesdropping on it. I may try to build one before too long and would love to hear what you do and why. If necessary, I would put up a discussion board on the web for the MOT folks that want to be in on the discussion.

Anyway. Something to think about.

Everyone have a great weekend!

I just passed 2 million credits at GPUGrid (2,001,897). smile Amazing since I only started crunching there Sept 18, '08. It appears that I will pass my WCG credits next week where I started Nov 16, '04. WCG really needs to get a GPU project. frustrated

I am a website developer so can put one up most any time at my server or elsewhere ... not a big deal if there is sufficent interest.

I think it will be a while for Marysdubby but .... whatever.
Edit => or we/you could have the discussion here. Not sure what the best thing to do is.

Ohhh.. What kind of website design do you do?

I'm fine here. Just will be a lot of spam.

I think most of us are curious about the I7 anyway. I want to know how hard you can OC it and retain reasonable stability. And I'm curious if it can keep up with a 260 GTX in BOINC STATS points per day.
