@ Jonathan: Did you get the replacement card for the 9800GTX yet?

Wish I could help on the OC of the I7 but can't. ![]() I was going to look at OCing my I7 but once I fired it up and started it running 8 tasks at once, it brought up the fan speed to the point that I knew it was running fairly warm already so I just skipped the idea althougher. Up there so close to the North Sea, I suspect you have the weather to allow you to get by with more than I can here in Texas. ![]() You'll need an aftermath cooler such as the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme. 8 cores overclocked = lots of heat. ![]() I want an i7. :\ just back from some guitar practice ![]() i'll have to check which fans are in this case... are at least 5... Case is an Antec 900 with large top fan, so i just might be able to influence the weather up here ![]() A900 has 4 fans. I have two of them. ![]() @Dataman: Pictures. Now. @Jonathan: Stumbled across this nice sale http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?p=FAN-TURBO&am...98c5fa649bc18d8c5cede35c# It's pretty big. It's like a triple slot cooler. I can't really see the need for aftermarket GPU cooling at this point yet. Once I get comfortable maxxing out the GPU and putting it beyond the heat tolerance threshold, then I'll go aftermarket. But probably right to watercooling. Or a HUGE aircooling unit. |

Now that is funny. I can just see that cat looking and listening. Umm Lunch. Tell her/him to go find her/his own lunch..preferably of the rodent variety. ![]() K2 is a barn cat. Her "job" here is to kill rodents and she does a very good job at it as there are plenty of them around. An occasional bird or young squirrel/bunny keeps the menu varried. ![]() ![]() |
