Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Richard-netpc has been crunching my stuff for a few days. I guess I didn't disconnect properly. Thanks for the heads up. I would say "don't worry about it, they'll disappear in a few days". Cheers :)

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Some remaining In progress tasks also on my account that should have showed as detach, as the device is not more working for me.

This will give a few more resend for remaining badge hunters wink
Good luck to those who are still trying to reach their target.

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

1) If a device is detached and then attached again -But- to a different account, no 'abort/detach message is sent,4 [phase 2 of the server/client confirmation comms]. So these will sit there until they expire.

2) If a device is detached and attached again, but under the same account -and- device is recognized as 'hey old pall', the server will actually see if they can resubmit the results to the same host, with the old deadline IIRC.

When doing 1 above, the expedient way is to abort any IP tasks first and then hit update [after setting 'no new work']. This will tell servers to resubmit to new hosts immediately. Same applies when e.g. re-imaging the host / doing clean install. Now, given the buffer depth won't have been more than a day, these IP will sit around for 9 more days, slowing down the batch completion. [At this stage of the game, not much of a concern to anyone ;]

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Looks like I didn't abort the tasks before removing the project...

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Nuts,
I hit 8 years tonight,
no 10 years for me.
oh well,
I will switch to one of the new projects where I have 2 years only, (or both).

EDIT: Don't know what's wrong with my brain, I only hit 8 years today.
Anyway released 140 units back into the wild.
GL all.

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Congratulations Domdom.

Over the next few days that runtime will get longer due to the work in pending validation actually being validated. If you have a chance, let us know how many pages are still waiting validation in your results status .

Hi OldChap & others :)

Pending validation : 4 pages
valid : 1 page
invalid : none
Pending Verification : 1 page
Too Late : none
Aborted : 3 pages
User Aborted : 3 pages
Server Aborted : none

Pending validation are mainly from mgmbx1 and 3-4 from you OldChap.

Some messages above I indicated this:

Spiders
Total run time: 0:111:19:48:48
Points 524,337
Results 3,894

mgmbx1
Total run time: 0:088:02:23:56
Points 228,466
Results 1,689

Now it is that:

Spiders
Total run time: 0:112:05:49:51
Points 526,227
Results 3,908

mgmbx1
Total run time 0:089:12:16:37
Points 232,122
Results 1,715

So we still have some results coming along.

My total FAAH as for today is 10:004:10:51:44

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Only 17 more days of crunching to go at my current rate to get a diamond badge. I hope the supply and my queue holds up until then.

Congratulations everyone who have hit a milestone. applause

Cheers coffee
