---------------------------------------- I have still to enter that club for runtime, which is my weak point. Rank is 1'257. I have started now calculating one WU with my hand calculator to improve my runtime.  That is an interesting question. If I take just the Boinc benchmark of 10 billion operations per second (integer operations), then for a WU like HCC that processes say in 90 minutes you get 54'000 billion operations to complete a WU. If I perform one operation per second, never sleep, never eat, never stop it will take me 1'800 millenia (rounded and simplified) to finish one WU. Excellent I will be the absolute number 1 All Time by then  For those who are skeptic, that is just 1.8 Billion years. No problem the Sun will die in 5 billion years. We have enough time. Btw I started.   |
