Aug 24th broke 8000 Sep 14th broke 7000 Sep 27th under 6000 October 18 5000 Nov 30th 4000 Feb 7th 3000 Mar 29th 2500 April 9th 2400 11 days for a 100 spots Not too shabby I guess... I liked it better when I was dropping 1000 spots in 2 weeks  |

I see a vortex of planets closing in on me on the way to the points top 500.

I see a vortex of planets closing in on me on the way to the points top 500 Sorry piroque , but I just passed the 500 signpost today. It took me eleven days to go from 600->500. I was well within my highway speed of 10-12 Ranks Per Day at the beginning until these last three days were I felt a very strong braking effect. Something must have happened with WCG as my daily points remained stable. I suppose that many members are increasing their daily output, upgrading their systems, adding new multicore chips, new double socket machines etc.. I feel that there is strong competition here. Eleven days means a speed of 9 RPD. I am not used to that. I had to leave the interstate highway and now I am driving on a side road. I need definitively to boost my system, Nitrox, Liquid Helium, Vitamins, Higher Voltage, anything if I want to be back on the highway. Back to work. Hypernova, again - well done
I'm just about managing to jump one or two places a day, in the world rankings - Now ranked at 949 for points.The elastic bands around my systems are tighter than yours! Just remember that some of the top contributors here have many, many systems. On a good day I might have 40 cores chipping in for me. Although you get about 3 times my points, with top end systems, some contributors have hundreds or thousands of cores – it wont matter much weather you can squeeze out another 0.1GHz or not! Anyway, the summer is coming, save such tactics for the late Autumn  |
