Would Canada Free Press bring pictures like this?

Lindsey Graham drinks the tar sands Kool-Aid: "€œIt is less carbon intensive than oil we find in California,"€ extraction " €œreally blends in with the natural habitat."
Quote / Unquote September 19, 2010

The fine, responsible industry has paid 832 million to Alberta of the estimated 16 Billion cost to clean up this tar sand strip mining... residual poisons ending up in your drinking water is always possible.

Meantime an interesting article in The Post how it's found that 47 of 48 US Rep. Senators are frontal against any Climate/Environment preserving measures and working hard to defund EPA and how the GOP is starting to realize and voice that the grand Denialism lobby is developing into a massive liability. The GOP: Grand Ol Polluters. (this too Aint True of course)

November 2 there's going to be a change... the planet shudders at what's going on there.

My cave is ready.

PS: The AGGI index 2009 has been updated on September 10. The total GHG forcing from 2008 to 2009 has increased by another percent over 2008 and 27.5% since Kyoto, 1990. This is already moderated due the hold on the ODGI factor... Ozone Depleting Gas Index. We Love UV light... all living matter does... that's why life did not come out of the oceans until some 700 million years ago... there was too much.

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

This is a labour of love

I'm still weeding out the rogues

When you get this close to the coalface it let's you understand just how bad our temperature collecting network is. That's not to say it's hopeless as I still have on the upside of 2800 temperature datapoints per hour being generated. It's just in it's coverage and operation it could be potentially that much better.

When I say rogues I am not deselecting for location as I am presented with just the 4 character station reference in the collecting data table. I mean rogues in the sense that their METAR does not conform to the standard (meaning that it cannot be collected automatically i.e. read by computer) or have 226C as an example temperature or run intermittently

I'm looking for reliable 24 hour named stations as many as I can find.

I've registered my domain name for the site to present this information in it's many forms once it is ready to roll. I hope to go live 1st Jan 2011 which gives me 3 months to shake it down and get my server in place.

Vietnam beat Thailand yesterday at 244C biggrin

While I write this I have had my first (clean) automatic hourly data collection from 2876 stations. dancing Average Temperature 17.59C

"I bet there's not many people around these parts who know it's not raining in Kuala Lumpur" wink

25,193,760 records per year ! I am going to need some more RAM

Well that is uncanny

http://wattsupwiththat.com/2010/09/21/noaancd...send-100-million-dollars/

there's a word for this and it's not synergy but it escapes me at the mo

I'll get the thesaurus out. If anyone has any suggestions let me know because it is going to drive me nuts. It's like resonance or symmetry but it isn't thinking

2 hours back to back fault free. I'm slowly winning my battle without too many more weather station losses. Now it's just the law of diminishing returns

Would Canada Free Press bring pictures like this?---- I would hope so--Worse than that out West in Arizona Uranium was surface mined and has leached into the ground water--being on a reservation these things are largely unreported-- sad
