Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

Hi Gerald
I'm still live and kicking
Apologies for not replying to your mail.... been pretty down over the weekend.

Bouncing back though

How's Gerald ?

I now have 140,571,492 temperature records in that database since it started smile

It is becoming less apples with apples as time rolls on as more and more stations stop reporting. Down to 2359 in the last hour. So I am just going to keep collecting the data until I have a decades worth and then reprocess it with only the weather stations that have been active for the duration of the experiment

Sifting and correctly collating that amount of data is not something you can do in your lunch hour, so I have a week booked off early in 2021

Whatever they tell us. There's nothing scary happening in reality

Get ready for the big iceberg story. Glaciers have been flowing down valleys and cracking off into the sea for a good long while. This time though its "Obviously Climate Change" due to a trace gas that is still a trace gas :-)

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

I was getting worried--everything is fine here!!Due to warming its in the 96 degree range here
The Grenfell Tower Fire Would Not Have Happened Without EU And Climate Regulations
Christopher Booker, The Sunday Telegraph
When, amid all the millions of words uttered about Grenfell, are we finally going to focus on the real cause of that fire? A comment on my column last week said that “only Booker could get a link between Grenfell, the EU and global warming into a single article”. But that is precisely the point. Without those two factors, the fire could never have happened.

As I had written, all this talk about “cladding” has been looking in wholly the wrong direction. The cause of the conflagration was less to do with the “rainscreen” cladding: it was the combination of 6in of combustible Celotex insulation foam behind it with a void creating a “chimney” effect, sending the flames roaring up the building.

In 1989, after a fire in an 11-storey block in Knowsley, the Building Research Establishment was asked to devise a means that could have prevented it.

Oil – Will we run out?

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

IN Al Gore’s latest cinematic dose of climate scaremongering, a young Asian man is crying.

“I feel so scared” he wails, before vision of solicitous uncle Al patting his hand in an attempt to soothe away his fears of the apocalypse.

Scaremongering is what Gore does best, and fear is the business model that has made him rich, though his every apocalyptic scenario has failed to materialise.

Like having your location tracked 24/7 by your mobile phone seems like a good thing but isn't

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-40699986

Sold as "Ooo look we can reduce our electricity bill" we will have welcomed electricity rationing with open arms

p.s. I don't have a smart meter and will resist to the bitter end the installation of one
