Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

You can't make valid conclusions on the long term climate by posting readings from one winter in one part of the world though

Climate is a chaotic system. It is essentially unpredictable.

Climate sure is unpredictable!! The current 2017 hurricanes are witness to that :-(

Oh and there is still plenty of ice at the poles :-)

Follow The Money

September 18, 2017

Abstract: The wasted and misspent money at NASA GISS and all climate research institutions is staggering. So, as they said in Watergate, follow the money.

Like all global warming skeptic climate scientists we are accused of taking money from oil companies and conservative organizations. We don't. None has ever even been offered. (C'mon! Why not? Pay us! Calm down. That's a joke.) And you'll note RealClimatologists.org has no place to make donations, although some of you have kindly offered.

Screw money. Love the Earth. If not I have a one way ticket to Mars I'm ready to sell.

Mars is a BAD IDEA, right now...until they make artificial magnetic field for it:

Ha. Artificial Magnetic Field. How much would that cost? I don't wanna pay for it. I'm sick of paying for manned space flight. If someone wants to go to space they should pay for it. And don't televise it. Our kids are traumatized enough. I'm also sick of paying for the damned blue 'angels' to fly over big events. It's only exciting when one of them crashes. Like NASCAR. Don't get me wrong. The F16 is a sweet ride, but it's no angel.

Well, not much...it's just a big magnet in vacuum, that need to rotate...no friction, so no problem with that! You only need occasional engines burn to keep up the rotation & power for those (if they are ion engines).
Also, some people pay to go to Space! wink

BTW, Blue Angels ride in Hornets. The Thunderbird's use Falcons!

& you wouldn't appropriate much that they are probably older squadron then you, that they have several decorated members - some of which are astronauts. The heritage like that is unbelievable.
& NO, it's not funny when they crash. & NO, it's not funny on NASCAR when they crash. If you driven on any track, you'd appreciate a little what those people do. Prove me wrong & enter to be a new champion in NASCAR or any other racing!
