Lets just hope that all those humans, power stations, aeroplanes, car and factories don't trigger another huge shift in climate like they did 2.4 million years ago and trigger an ice age again.
oh, hang on a minute........ |

I'd take an ice age over a burning earth.

I'd take an ice age over a burning earth. Then turn off the heat in winter--using all those fossil fuels to heat your house ![]() ![]() |

I heat with wood. And BTW, modern humans weren't around 2.4 million years ago.

Global cooling!! Yep, that's why they stopped talking about global warming, went quiet for a while and then came roaring back with 'climate change' |

mandated U.S. ethanol quotas eat up 40% of this nation’s corn, grown on over 36 million acres of cropland, to replace 10% of America’s gasoline. Corn ethanol also requires billions of gallons of water, and vast quantities of pesticides, fertilizers, tractor fuel and natural gas … to produce energy that drives up food prices, damages small engines, gets one-third fewer miles per gallon than gasoline – and during its entire production and use cycle emits just as much carbon dioxide as gasoline.
----------------------------------------Imagine replacing 100% of US gasoline with corn ethanol. How would that in any way be sustainable? https://wattsupwiththat.com/2017/10/08/politi...eatens-planet-and-people/ ![]() |
