Re: DDDT2 Project Badge Recognition Thread

It's interesting to see who will be the first to report his/her 16th badge (a perfect set of 4 x 4).
Scrolling through this thread I can see it will be either Sekerob , rembertw , uplinger or GIBA

Come on you guys! CRUNCH like there's no tomorrow biggrin

Re: DDDT2 Project Badge Recognition Thread

I've been waiting as well. 9 valids for 12days and 11 PV. I guess our wingman are either using office machines (that runs mon-fri 9-5) or have 10day cache.

erlc_ c117_ ps0000_ 0-- Uranus Valid 19.02.10 05:22:03 22.02.10 10:26:52 39.93 969.5 / 749.8

Finally it has been validated as a 40 CPU hours job which has me astonished. When it was at 93% it was showing 43 hours elapsed and 1.5 to go. And when finished it is round 40. Where did the 4 or 5 additional crunching hours disappear.
And to add insult to injury to be rewarded with only 749.8 points. No thanks I will not take any more of these WU's. Let's wait for regular ones.
My statistical average is 147 points/hour. I should get then for 40 hours 5'880 points. We are very far from that.

I think your looking at the elapsed time not the cpu time.

Re: DDDT2 Project Badge Recognition Thread

[ot] Moment for reflection on the system efficiency... what else is running on there? The differentials BOINCtasks has logged for the 8 done here on the quad was in the range of 1:15 to 1:55 hours and that is quite actively using it and running streaming radio of mediaplayer on the side, plus a firefox that can draw quite a bit of CPU juice.[/ot]

Actually you received 5,249 points, the 749.8 is BOINC credits.

FYI, I was your wingman on that one.

Re: DDDT2 Project Badge Recognition Thread

SNURK,

I won't really be in the game until the "C" types arrive, so my guess is GIBA, followed by Uplinger. 3rd place, I don't know. It would be nice to claim that spot but there's too many variables. Anyway, it will take a very long time to get a next 4-in-a-row, and that's the actual goal. biggrin
