One of my sons pointed out that I had totally missed the 40th anniversary of my return from Vietnam last week. I came home on Friday, March 13, 1970. Quite the day to come home on!  I was 9 years old on that day!

One of my sons pointed out that I had totally missed the 40th anniversary of my return from Vietnam last week. I came home on Friday, March 13, 1970. Quite the day to come home on! I was 9 years old on that day! Friday the 13th has been good for me over the years. I quit smoking on Friday, February 13, 2009. Oh yeah -- I was already 27 when I came home. |

I saw this posted by brinktastee over in the "Birdwatchers from the World United" thread in the Chat Room and thought it was worth repeating here so nobody misses it: http://www.ustream.tv/theowlbox There are a bunch of people waiting for these Barn Owl eggs to hatch. This is very entertaining to watch. The nest box is above a school in San Marco Calf. Presently, the female is eating a rat as she incubates her eggs (5 of them). One egg looks like it has been chipped through and will hatch soon! |

I had to bring "Molly" up on one of the dual-card crunching machine. My Pentium D even with a GTX285 just could not keep up with my live weather station, live streaming "Molly" and live streaming NASCAR.  G'Morning MOT.   |
