can't get one of my computers to connect to the internet (wireless..) also, wcg locks up on it too.. arrggghh... don't know how to fix it..

can't get one of my computers to connect to the internet (wireless..) also, wcg locks up on it too.. arrggghh... don't know how to fix it.. Dr. Mike.. It could be one, or several problems. On the connection issue, I assume that you have rebooted both the router (power off wait 60 seconds and power on) and the computer. Caution if you have set up security (hopefully you have) on the router and you reset it via the button you will have to redo the security. Another thing to try is to connect the computer to the router via an Ethernet cable. If it works, this eliminates a lot of things but still does not tell you if the wireless eletronics in the computer (wireless card probably) is the problem. Try the re-powering thing on both and let us know. |

A testament to the impact of the WCG on HIV/AIDS A possible whole new class of drugs is pretty major I'd say. Too bad there was no announcement about it here in the forums (well, if there was, it must be well buried - I can't find anything). |
