Re: Join The International Team

LTC are already becoming difficult from like 1973 to around 4000 last i heard. I think i'm going to save the wear and tear on the GPU for a more important project. Wonder what a GPU project would do to ripple giveaway...

I'm trying to buy a cheap, workstation, or server racks.
But anything cheap is eating so much electricity nowadays.

Baron, I see you've got your signature stats image in place, nice!

Just built an AMD Kaveri 7850k computer for my parents (upgrade from Athlon II x4 620), with 256GB Plextor M5S SSD and 16GB RAM. Will see if they'll allow me to crunch WCG on it ^_^

Alright, be well everyone!

Re: Join The International Team

Finally, after such efforts, Sapphire for CEP2! :)
8GB RAMDisk did help (up from 4GB), so that more CEP2 WUs could be run simultaneously.

Re: Join The International Team

I hope everyone is having a good weekend!
I am trying to rest as much as I can. I'm not a fan of sports, but I do love figure skating - but I see it as a form of art, not a sport on the other hand.

Be well everyone!

Re: Join The International Team

Well,
since i'm rippling it, I'm staying with MCM,
but even though it's less points I do 2 CEP2 units per machine.
I do love solar power :D
set a winter record of 23 KW yesterday.
Haven't checked today.

Saw The book thief at the cheap movie theatre (2.25 on Tuesday even cheaper than usual).
Pretty good movie, my wife really loved it
A woman sitting near us at the end, said "who picked this movie"
You could tell she'd been crying. I was amused.

EDIT: wow 26.7 KW today, about 6 panels still shaded but not all the time.
It's been sunny a lot, just freakin cold at -30 last night, only about minus 20 tonight.

Re: Join The International Team

Wish I could afford a solar system so I could go off grid but after researching I found that it would cost around $90g + installation costs. Guess I'll just keep paying power bills as it would take the rest of my life to break even from that kind of investment. Maybe in the near future they'll develop panels that produce twice the power at half the cost. smile

Y'all have a great day. cool
