Damon, sorry to hear about the job. I have always disliked Facebook because of this amongst other things.
----------------------------------------Here we also have A Lot of people losing their jobs because they wrote something of FB that the employer did not like. For whatever reason. I have heard stories like for instance a woman announced that she was pregnant and so the employer read that on FB and realized that she would be away from work in like some months so he fired her before she got the baby. Yea, pretty sick world we live in is my opinion... ![]() Join The International Team: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/viewTeamInfo.do?teamId=CK9RP1BKX1 AMD TR2990WX @ PBO, 64GB Quad 3200MHz 14-17-17-17-1T, RX6900XT @ Stock AMD 3800X @ PBO AMD 2700X @ 4GHz |

Good morning Leo. Facebook isn't the problem in my case, it's my ignorant employer using someone elses profile to get to information that was posted on a private conversation. And at no point was the name "O'Reilly" ever listed just store numbers "2069 & 1842" that could've referred to any company. They just can't stand it that someone knows a better way to run things. They piss away 20 hours of payroll every Sunday and sell less than $1000 gross. Just because the competition is open. Guess what, I used to work for the competition, they're open only because we're open. None of them will grow a pair and make a conscious business decision. This is a church community and people DO NOT shop on Sunday. The ones that do come in would do it on Saturday or Monday if we weren't open. Carquest is kicking our butts on net profit...why? Because they use thier payroll where it counts, they aren't open on Sunday and they close at 5:30 during the week and about 3:00 on Saturday.
----------------------------------------Okay JP you don't have to tell me to shut up. I'm getting off my soap box. LOL Y'all have a great day....I'm off to work...at O'reillys. Let's see if they can find me on this forum. ![]()

Hey team, here's one you're not gonna believe. I got called into a meeting yesterday and my job threatened because I posted MY OPINION on facebook. Funny, I thought the U.S. Constitution guaranteed me First Amendment rights. Anybody know a good lawyer that only charges if they win? ![]() Y'all have a great day. Problem is, the Constitution doesn't guarentee you a job. Remember, this is a right to fire you at will state. They don't need a reason, just an excuse. That's true Dave but trust me, they don't exercise that option, they won't even fire a documented thief they have at a store that not only has a password that lets him adjust inventory but he's a key carrier! The DM, RM, Div. VP, and 2 auditors all know about him and still they don't can him. How many ex employees do you think are out there that wouold like to know this? ![]() See you later, tell Kimmy "HI"

Damon, I guess you are right. I just don't see the logic in how they justify one being more of a problem than the other. I will tell Kimmy "Hi" for you when I see her next. She spent the night at a friends house and haven't heard from her since yesterday.

Yea, employers go to great lengths today and don't care about the privacy or freedom of speech of others.

Good afternoon all. A family from our church have recently gotten a dog and now their landlord wants an additional $250.00 a month increase in rent for the dog and also $2,000.00 dollars to replace the carpeting when they move. The family is going to find a new place to live that will accept a pet under better conditions. My wife and I love dogs and do not have one at this time. We are going to let the dog live with us until they find a new place to live. I would hate to see this family have to loose their dog that they have grown to love due to this predicament. It should be an adventure taking care of a Great Dane (at least very interesting!!!!)
