My dogs enjoy my wife and daughter almost full time. I spend most nights with each of them cuddled up next to me. It is really something to see when I get home from running errands and work. It is almost like I am returning home from forced exile. I think the dogs would actually dance and sing if I could just teach them English.

Hello all together!
----------------------------------------I'm back as well - had a lot of troubles last month because of my broken car. I have tryed to repair it, but it didn't work, so I had to find a new car to buy and to sell the old one. Now I'm already not far from a cruncher's dream - a hybrid car. On Saturday I'm going to pick up my new Toyota Prius. So will save petrol and environment same time ![]() @Chris: regarding crunching on a laptop. I'm doing it since Oktober, but I would say that it was not really a good idea. It's getting pretty hot and noisy, but it's the smallest problem. Bigger problem is, that it's killing the battery and it's very hard to open the laptop case to clean the fan. Now my laptop cannot live without power cable longer than half an hour and I'm still preparing myself for the cleaning operation - it's getting too hot now. So if you want to crunch on a laptop - remove the battery first and let it run without it. And think about opening the case for cleanÃng - you would have to do it if you would crunch on it. ![]() |

JP and krakatuk (congrats to the new car, my father has Prius -04 and he is very pleased with it and the new HSD1.8 litre models from -10 are supposed to be even better. But here is a hybrid I'd really want http://www.wired.com/autopia/2011/01/vw-xl1-concept-car/ ), welcome back!

I'm not thinking about any upgrades right now. Has anyone ever Crunched using a laptop? Just curious...I bet it would really heat up something fierce. Yes Chris, I've used my laptop since the day I got it 2 years ago. I would suggest either a cool pad for it or in my case I have it on a rack so it has open air all sides and theres a fan I have nearby so there's airflow to help keep a fresh supply to it. Of course I keep the battery unplugged as it stays on the cord 24/7 and I don't wana burn it up. Have a great day.

Aso to remove dust from fans and fins, there are pressurized air containers. Cost about 8-10 bucks, should be available in all computer shpos. It is very convenient. I just point the long tiny nozzle into the ventilation holes for the fan in the laptop and out comes dust :)
----------------------------------------But do it regularly so that you don't get large lumps that have a hard time getting out. Also I use it om my desktop to clean the fins of the ZALMAN CNPS 9900 (lots of fins) and it also works great for getting things out of the keyboard :) Also I have found that pressurized air in a can with a tiny nozzle is great to get dust off things in the household where it is hard to wipe away. ![]() Join The International Team: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/viewTeamInfo.do?teamId=CK9RP1BKX1 AMD TR2990WX @ PBO, 64GB Quad 3200MHz 14-17-17-17-1T, RX6900XT @ Stock AMD 3800X @ PBO AMD 2700X @ 4GHz |

You're quite welcome!
----------------------------------------Btw, I happened to look at my device statistics when I found this row: 2011-01-11 0:000:00:01:43 67 1 So, first off how can a task finish in less than two minutes and then, if let's say that 2 minutes gave me 70 points so in 1 hour I would get 2100p ? Not that bad points/hour of runtime then... but every other row gets calculated into around 148p/hour. Has some one of you had this kind of "problem"? ![]() Join The International Team: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/viewTeamInfo.do?teamId=CK9RP1BKX1 AMD TR2990WX @ PBO, 64GB Quad 3200MHz 14-17-17-17-1T, RX6900XT @ Stock AMD 3800X @ PBO AMD 2700X @ 4GHz |
