Good morning everyone. How many processors do the servers have Leo? If it's one do they have a slot for a second core? Have a great day everyone Each server has two single core Xeons at 3.4GHz each (Intel netburst though :( so the GHz are very efficient) but still. Yes every server has two slots for CPUs so both are filled in every one. According to Dell specs it should be possible to run with dual core Xeons, which would give a good boost, but I do not know where to find cheap Xeons of this kind so that'll have to do for now :) Every Server also has 2GB of DDR2 ECC RAM and a 73GB 15k RPM Seagate SCSI Harddrive. Infiniband network available and two 1Gbps RJ45 normal ethernet ports. Would run more of them than just one server sooner if I only could isolate the sound... Good evening team....Another work week is almost over....It's been an interesting week for me. The company I work for has been acquired by another company....So far it's been all good...I'm still employed and there's no changes planned as far as my current position. I met the executives yesterday and there seems to be a lot more opportunities available with this new company...I realize there are times we all grumble about different aspects of our jobs but this situation has made me much more aware that being employed is well worth some of the aggravations a job brings.

Damon and I have known each other for over 30 years. Thank you Damon for the kind words, but you would have done the same for me had I asked. I try do do at least 1 good deed a day in hopes that Karma will some day return the favor. For those of you who do not believe in Karma, why take chances when it doesn't do you any harm. Do good to others and sometimes the reward is reaped at a later date. My idea of Karma.
