Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

I have 1 ts05 that has 1.05 hour of runtime and is PV. thinking

That is odd, but I'm still aborting all my "05" wus.

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

Hey bath,

My results suggest 05 p's are broken while 05 s's are completing OK.

So perhaps let your s's run if you still have any.

cheers
------------------
Edit

Grrrr
A couple of s's have failed.
Now I have..
s's 15 Ok + 2 fail
p's 0 OK + 10 fail

Still seems to me that s's are worth running.

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

Aborting before word of the techs is and remains a source of passing the problem to another cruncher. Advise continues: Suspend these tasks ('p' of ts05 it seems) and unsuspend them temporarily to get a backfill in cache if you need that, then resuspend.

Have put some ts05 of the 's' type ahead as they are the know short jobs.

Thanks all for your understanding.

edit: So after pushing 2 ts05-sr ahead they gave both the LAMBDA error I think some reported on the previous C-Type run, so for now will hold all the ts05, except the one 'sd'.

Sekerob,

Your theory and advice is quite correct, but fortunately that nice Mr Uplinger put a plug in the feed line before he went to snore.
I have checked my earlier fails and confirm that make up WU's are not going out on this occasion. That's good - no moving the problem to others.

That is odd, but I'm still aborting all my "05" wus.

I have ts05a WUs that say computation error but are PV and I'm getting credit for them. I have some ts05a WUs that are reported as errors and I'm still getting credit. I'm going to let all my remaining WUs run their course and see what happens.

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

Never mind on what I typed....it was premature...the unit failed... 13 hours to get 4 hours of runtime and failed unit.
