Aborting before word of the techs is and remains a source of passing the problem to another cruncher. Advise continues: Suspend these tasks ('p' of ts05 it seems) and unsuspend them temporarily to get a backfill in cache if you need that, then resuspend. ]]> If this was a Beta project WU release I will agree but it's not They should have been aborted by admin when the first batch returned error out Wasted 2 days of computing on these bad 5's ![]() Going- going- Gone all 5's |

I have a ts05 that appears to have run successfully and is still PV. I wonder what's happening with good WUs where the wingman aborted.

In the previous shower I had some PV like that. I think eventually they were marked as something like "too late" but I also think I got credit for them

I have a ts05 that appears to have run successfully and is still PV. I wonder what's happening with good WUs where the wingman aborted. So you are talking about situations like these: ts01_ d470_ se0000_ 1-- 617 Pending Validation 02.12.10 23:02:50 04.12.10 05:53:46 2.85 69.2 / 0.0 ts01_ d470_ se0000_ 0-- - Detached 02.12.10 23:02:44 05.12.10 03:28:14 0.00 0.0 / 0.0 ts01_ d470_ se0000_ 2-- - Waiting to be sent — — 0.00 0.0 / 0.0 Maybe the techs could decide to send out the "Waiting to be sent" WUs if there is a PV wingman result? Regards, Martin ![]() |

We have cleared out all of the work units on the grid. The researchers have provided us with some new work that should properly run on the grid. We will be doing a few extra steps to make sure we don't have this trouble again.
1. We are going to test a few work units on the back end first. 2. Only send out minimal amount of the work units to members to make sure there isn't a widespread issue. 3. Release the flood gates so that all can get work. Thanks, Seippel |

Thanks for the heads up and for the hard work you and all the techs do.
