Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

This has only 3000 type C work units. This is again still part of step 2 listed by Seippel.

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

I wonder if with DDDT2 could happen the same thing which we saw with almost all projects, where when we download WU's we can get 15 WU's each time (at most, and if have machine/Boinc client availability to get it).

I have a machine with 16 cores available and just now thare are 10 dry of WU's to be processed, and this machine tryed download DDDT2 many times in last hours and just got 2 WU's. And the cores are dry just due the waiting for DDDT2 drops announced since yesterday, once this project is one of my targets.

I don't know why there is a limit per download in DDDT2 (due the rarity ?), but would be great and I guess that probably most effective if WCG take an action to change it, at least to became the rule similar that adopted for Beta WU's (one per core, at most, each time), or perhaps became it equal almost all projects... thinking

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

The project is set for low priority...which means few slots in the feeder to send out. This get refilled, but for example. say there are 5 spots in the feeder that are filled every 5 seconds...This is why it's hard to grab them on your machine at this time. We decided against one per core for this project because in the future we are hopeful that many work units will be available over a longer periods of time.

As of this post there are still over 2000 results that will be sent out with this test.

05's are already Erroring out on one system I have. I am rebooting it now to make sure it wasn't something faulty in the background.

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

I've already received a repair that a wingman errored out on with 0.00 time. That can't be good. Looks like the download error again. Hope this is not a sign of things to come.

I have two 05's that have started without error under Linux. One is 5% complete and the other 10% complete. Here's hoping....
