.... I still cannot upload anything. Crunchers are idle since I just have a .33 day queue.


I' ve been able to upload for a while now. Can't report anything but anything that's done crunching is ready to report. I just hope we can do that soon. It would be interesting to see WCG go a full day with no work "completed". Once we can report it, the validators will get slammed and no telling how long they will take to slog thru all their work. I always normally run with a three day queue as, based on history, that would get me thru their worst outage.

Edit: In the meantime, I've processed today's monster Windows update and am now updating my version of Norton (nice little 120MB download - GROAN!).

Edit2: Figures since I just posted this. The filesystem copy is done. They have uploads down again while they update their configuration. Sounds like they will have things back running pretty soon. Prep those trigger fingers folks! laughing

Yep same here 4 WU's uploaded whether they validate before tonights results updates is anyones business, have a feeling tonights team total is going to take a bit of a dive today.

I have a number of WUs that should validate and get points but it's not looking like that will happen before tonight's stats. Lots of folks are probably going to be in the same position. I'll starting to think I'll be surprised if the team points tonight is not zero. WCG as a whole will probably have very little.

More like a case! biggrin I didn't have anything validate in time (and still haven't) and I got my WUs reported real soon after things opened back up. The only question in my mind is whether or not we'll have a nominal non-zero point day today. Tomorrow should have us doing 1000-1200 points but, given the circumstances, we really can't count that as a record being two days worth of work. I REALLY wish they have a server status page much like SETI's - theirs shows server status and wu state status - how may they have ready to send, pending validation and the like. Having something like that would let us see the magnitude of the backlog, how fast it's working down and such so that we can get an idea of what to expect when.
